The disciples of Jesus had been arguing about which of them was the greatest. They asked Jesus, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" In response, Jesus called a little boy over to Him and began to teach that the greatest in the kingdom are the ones who are least concerned about how great they are. The greatest in the kingdom are the ones who are most childlike, most humble, most trusting in their heavenly Father.
