Remember the guys on the TV show "Hee Haw" who would sit there in overalls and sing, "Gloom, despair, and agony on me; deep, dark depression, excessive misery; if it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all; gloom, despair, and agony on me!" If ever anyone had a right to sing that song, it was Joseph. He really went through some hard times that were, to him, unexplainable. He went through the Pit, Potiphar's house, the Prison, and the Palace. That roller-coaster life was all a part of God's plan to get Joseph in a position of authority so that he could save the lives of his family. He understood that God had been working behind the scenes to get him into position to be a blessing. How can you have that kind of extreme trust in God?
