Sunday School
Here at First Baptist Church, Thomasville, we believe God’s Word has the power to change lives. Each Sunday at 9:45 a.m., from the youngest to the oldest, age-appropriate Bible study takes place in Sunday School.
Our Sunday School teachers come prepared to teach God’s Word in a way that it can be understood and applied to daily living. Fellowship is another key component of Sunday School. Each Sunday School class is encouraged to “get together” for times of fun and encouragement outside the class. There is no better way to meet people and become acclimated to the church than through a Sunday School class.
Finally, the personal touch of ministry takes place in the Sunday School class. Through the highs and lows of life, Sunday School classes meet needs and show the love of Jesus. We encourage every member and guest to attend Sunday School and study God’s Word and fellowship with and minister to others.
